A Carotis Duplex vizsgálat a kék és piros színek segítségével teszi még

szemléletesebbé a vizsgálati eredményt.

A vizsgálat során a koponyát ellátó nagy nyaki erek véráramlását, az erek tágasságát ellenőrizzük, segítségével jól megítélhetők az esetleges érfali felrakódások, szűkületek, elzáródások és meszesedések, képet kaphatunk az agyi keringés veszélyezettségéről.

A Carotis Duplex vizsgálat a többi ultrahangos technológiát alkalmazó vizsgálatokhoz hasonlóan nem jár káros hatással, nem bocsájt ki sugarakat, fájdalommentes, megbízható és többször is elvégezhető, különösebb előkészületet nem igényel a páciens részéről.
